The Catholic vote is the swing vote in Presidential Elections. That is, whichever Presidential candidate wins the Catholic vote almost always wins the White House.

So you can be certain this enormous survey of 10,000,000 Catholic voters will be studied carefully by members of Congress, 2016 Presidential candidates, and elected officials.

You can also expect the results of this survey to receive wide media coverage.

The 2016 Presidential Election is likely our last chance to save America as the “land of the free” for your children and grandchildren.

CatholicVote is most focused on 12 battleground states that will decide whether America can be saved…or whether our government will continue its current assault on religious liberty, the family, and the moral values that made America great.

We will also be using the information we collect from this survey to . . .

  1. Help us identify who is registered and who is not registered to vote for the all-important 2016 Presidential Election Year; With your help, we aim to register 3,000,000 brand new pro-life, pro-family Catholics to vote in the 12 battleground states before the 2016 Elections . . . and then make sure they actually vote on Election Day;
  2. Help target our voter education, registration, and turnout operation resources to maximize impact; and
  3. Show America’s elected officials (including members of Congress and 2016 candidates for President and Congress) that Americans wants an end to our government’s assault on religious liberty, the family, and the moral values that built America.

Part C: Our Government’s Assault on Religious Liberty and Christianity

Question #1: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional to be said in public schools because it contains the phrase “One Nation Under God.” What’s your view of this ruling?

ISSUE SUMMARY: Tennessee high school student Kendra Turner was suspended from school for saying “Bless You” after a classmate sneezed. Her teacher had included “Bless You” in a list of banned phrases from the school, saying that phrase is for church.

for saying “Bless You” after a classmate sneezed?

Question #3: Do you think a strong bias against the free exercise of religion has developed throughout our governing institutions, schools, and culture?

ISSUE SUMMARY: Ever since the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex “marriage” is a Constitutional right, the government has been cracking down on Christians who disagree with same-sex “marriage.” A Christian photographer has been fined in New Mexico for declining to participate in a gay-marriage ceremony, a penalty upheld by the New Mexico Supreme Court. In Oregon, a Christian couple who own a bakery were ordered by a judge to bake cakes for same-sex wedding ceremonies or face fines of up to $150,000 and even imprisonment. The same thing happened to a baker in Colorado.

Question #4: Do you think Christians should be forced by law to participate in same-sex wedding ceremonies? Or do you think it violates the First Amendment to the Constitution’s protections for religious freedom and freedom of association to force Christians to participate in same-sex weddings?

ISSUE SUMMARY: The ACLU and other organizations hostile to religious liberty have been leading a campaign in the courts for decades to outlaw religious symbols, displays, and quotations from American public life.

ISSUE SUMMARY: In the battle over whether Christmas should continue to be a national holiday in America, FOX News Commentator Bill O’Reilly summarized the stakes in this way:

“The importance of the Christmas controversy is that it has become the centerpiece of the culture war between traditional Americans and secular progressives. Outside of the war on terror, this culture war is the most important thing happening in the country today.”

ISSUE SUMMARY: America’s founding document – our Declaration of Independence adopted on July 4, 1776 – states as follows:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

In other words, America’s founders believed our freedoms are granted by God, not government, and that the primary role of government (as our U.S. Constitution states) is to “secure the blessings of liberty.” This idea allowed America to quickly become the freest, most prosperous nation in history.
