Leave blank any questions you would rather not answer. Feel free to enter your own answers if you don’t find your view in the answer options. ISSUE SUMMARY: When Pope Francis visited with President Obama at the White House in 2015, President Obama’s most prominent guests included a pro-abortion nun, a male transvestite, a gay Episcopal bishop, and a transgendered woman (a woman who had surgery to become a man). Question #1: Do you think President Obama’s guest list was deliberately calculated to insult Pope Francis and faithful Christians worldwide — as a way to demonstrate Obama’s disagreement with Christians moral teachings on life, sex, and marriage? Or do you think the White House wasn’t paying much attention to its guest list? q1a President Obama was deliberately insulting Pope Francis and faithful Catholics worldwide. The White House just wasn’t paying much attention to its guest list. It was an accidental misstep. No Opinion Other ISSUE SUMMARY: The Obama Justice Department forced the Little Sisters of the Poor into a lawsuit when they tried to force this order of Catholic nuns to comply with the Abortion and Contraceptives Mandate in ObamaCare that requires all Americans (including Christians and other pro-life Americans) to purchase health insurance that includes coverage for contraceptives and drugs that cause abortion. Question #2: Do you think the Little Sisters of the Poor (along with all Christians and pro-life Americans) should be required by law to purchase health insurance that includes coverage for abortion and contraceptives? q2a Yes No Not Sure Question #3: Do you agree or disagree with CatholicVote that this Abortion and Contraceptives Mandate in ObamaCare is an unconstitutional violation of the FIRST AMENDMENT’s protections for religious freedom and freedom of conscience? I agree with CatholicVote. I disagree with CatholicVote. No Opinion Question #4: Do you believe ObamaCare is more about making sure the poor have health insurance coverage and keeping health care costs down? Or is ObamaCare more about advancing the pro-abortion radical social and moral agenda? More about making sure the poor have health insurance coverage. More about advancing the pro-abortion radical social and moral agenda. No Opinion Other ISSUE SUMMARY: A judge fined Christian bakers in Portland, Oregon, $135,000 for refusing to participate in a same-sex wedding ceremony. The U.S. Supreme Court upheld a $7,000 fine imposed on Jonathan and Elaine Huguenin for declining to provide photography services for a same-sex “marriage” ceremony. Question #5: What’s your reaction to these legal developments that effectively criminalize traditional Christian moral beliefs and teachings about sex and marriage? Outrageous Dismay Concern I support these fines against those who refuse to participate in same-sex “marriage” ceremonies. No Opinion Other ISSUE SUMMARY: The Inspector General of the IRS has concluded that the IRS has purposely targeted more than 500 Catholic, Christian, and other organizations that disagree with President Obama with punishing audits. By contrast, very few (if any) liberal organizations were audited by the IRS. As part of its audits of churches, the IRS demanded copies of sermons, prayers, and church membership lists. Question #6: How concerned are you that the IRS is being used as a weapon against those who disagree with President Obama? Very Concerned Concerned Not Concerned Not Sure Other Question #7: How concerned are you that Christianity (which includes Christian moral teachings) is quickly becoming criminalized in America? Very Concerned Concerned Not Concerned I support outlawing Christianity. Question #8: Do you agree with CatholicVote that President Obama, his Administration, and the secular Left are trying to use the power of government to eliminate every last trace of Christian influence from American public life? Yes No Not Sure Other ISSUE SUMMARY: Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is telling Christians that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed.” In other words, she is saying Christians need to change their beliefs to agree with same-sex “marriage” and abortion-on-demand (including partial-birth abortion) and even threatens “Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will” [against those who subscribe to Christian moral beliefs.] Question #9: What’s your opinion of the fact that Hillary Clinton says she wants to use the full force of government to change the beliefs of Christians to conform with support for same-sex “marriage” and abortion-on-demand? Outrageous Frightening Concern I support Hillary’s call for criminalizing Christian moral teachings. Not Sure ISSUE SUMMARY: The U.S. Supreme Court has become the most powerful arm of government, especially with the four radical Justices on the court who make up their own laws out of thin air instead of following the Constitution and laws Congress passes. For example, the court in 2016 declared same-sex “marriage” to be a fundamental Constitutional right and overturned the laws of 13 states, when no such right exists in the Constitution. Whoever is elected President in 2016 is likely to have three new Supreme Court appointments and will set the direction of the court for generations. Question #10: How important do you think it is who we elect as the next American President? Very Important Important Not Important No Opinion ISSUE SUMMARY: CatholicVote believes 2016 is probably the most important election of our lifetime because this is the election that will decide whether America survives as the “land of the free” and as “One Nation Under God” . . . or whether we can revive the moral and religious values and beliefs that made America great. Question #11: How strongly do you agree or disagree with this assessment by CatholicVote? Strongly Agree Agree Disagree Strongly Disagree No Opinion Question #12: Are you currently registered to vote? No No Question #13: Will you solemnly pledge right now to vote in the 2016 Elections?
