U.S. Senate Research Survey of 10,000,000 Catholic Voters
Concerning the Confirmation of President Trump’s First Supreme Court Justice Appointment

INSTRUCTIONS: Please mark the answer that most closely reflects your opinion. Leave any questions blank that you prefer not to answer.
ABOUT THIS SURVEY: We will distribute a report on the results of this survey . . .
  • To U.S. Senators;
  • To President Donald J. Trump and his top advisors; and
  • Throughout the news media.

Because this survey is so enormous, because the Catholic vote represents the largest swing vote in national elections, and because President Trump won the Catholic vote in 2016 by a significant margin, you can be sure the results of this survey will be studied carefully by the U.S. Senate, especially the 10 Democrat Senators up for re-election in 2018 who represent states won by President Trump.

SITUATION SUMMARY: President Trump is certain to have one and may have as many as four Supreme Court Justice appointments during his term. So President Trump has a once-in- a-life- time opportunity to shift the Supreme Court in a pro-life, pro-family, and pro-freedom direction for a generation or more – which is why this battle taking place now over President Trump’s first Supreme Court appointment is likely the most important battle he will have during his entire Presidency . . . because this first battle will set the stage for all subsequent battles. If the anti-Christian, anti-life Left succeeds in blocking President Trump’s first Supreme Court nominee, they will be emboldened to block all of his Supreme Court appointments unless and until he appoints Justices they will accept – Justices who won’t challenge the Left’s anti-Christian, anti-life agenda.
CAMPAIGN SUMMARY: CatholicVote is focusing special attention on generating massive and overwhelming voter pressure on 10 persuadable Democrat Senators to vote to confirm President Trump’s choice for Supreme Court Justice. These 10 Democrats are Joe Manchin from West Virginia, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Jon Tester of Montana, Joe Donnelly in Indiana, Bill Nelson in Florida, Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Debbie Stabenow in Michigan, Robert Casey in Pennsylvania, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, and Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin. All 10 of these Senators represent red Republican states who voted for Donald Trump in 2016. And all 10 of these Democratic Senators are up for reelection in 2018. So CatholicVote is conducting a major advertising, media, and Catholic Citizen Action Campaign in these 10 states to pressure these 10 Democratic Senators to vote to CONFIRM President Trump’s first Supreme Court Justice nominee.

Letter from a Voter Demanding You Vote To Swiftly Confirm
President Trump’s First Supreme Court Justice Appointment

Dear Senators,

As a voter, I demand that you vote to immediately confirm President Donald J. Trump’s first pro-life nominee to replace the late great Justice Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.

President Trump was very clear during the campaign that he would only appoint Supreme Court Justices who share Justice Scalia’s judicial philosophy – Justices will follow the Constitution as written, not make up their own laws out of thin air to advance the Left’s anti-Christian, anti-life, anti-freedom agenda.

This will be a key issue in deciding how I will vote in the 2018 Election.

I will be monitoring your vote closely on this matter of paramount importance to me.

Sincerely,

Letter of Thanks To President Donald J. Trump

Dear President Trump,

I want to express my deepest thanks to you for running a pro-life, pro-Christian Presidential campaign.

You boldly promised you would only appoint Justices to the Supreme Court who are pro-life and who will follow the Constitution strictly as written.

You courageously proved that it’s possible to win the Presidency by being explicitly and boldly pro-life. In fact, you proved that being pro-life is not a political liability.

I’m hoping your bold pro-life candidacy and victory gives courage to other pro-life politicians to be even more boldly pro-life. Thank you for your courage.

Sincerely,
